~This post is quite different from my previous posts since it’s kind of a personal experience that I am sharing about a current group project i am involved…

I am currently working on a project which me and my three colleagues involved. It is one of the group projects we have to do under the current academic year subject module called Application Frameworks. We are given a project to develop a final-year research project evaluation tool for our university.

Initially, we got the project requirements and the lecturers asked us to prepare a Software Requirement Specification (SRS) document to gather and analyze the project specifications.

We have identified the requirements of each actor who interacts with the software and other project related information and then, we prepared the document. Thereafter, Me and my team has successfully submitted the prepared SRS document and started studying the project.

We have been instructed to use the MERN stack for this project. MERN stands for four key technologies called,

M-Mongo DB

E -Express JS

R-React JS

N-Node JS

MERN was a new technology for us, therefore we started referring tutorials, videos etc.

Then we continued studying the project requirements along with a project management tool called ASANA with the guidance of our group leader.

In the meantime, we started developing the project and we are trying our best to get a better outcome with the support of all the four members in our group.

Although we get issues while doing the project, we try to solve them by discussing all the issues with the team members. And that is one of the best thing which needs to be there when doing a group project.

We are looking forward to obtain a better outcome from this group project…

Conclusion

So I hope, we will get this group project done well. 🤞
